Day 01: Bangkok –Mekhala cruise (Dinner)

Pick up from your hotel in Bangkok and transfer to local pier and cruise on the Mekhala Cruise from Bangkok by the “Legendary River Cruiser Mekhala”,
cruising up the Chao Phaya River pass by the Grand Palace and the Temple of Dawn.
Just after dark the Mekhala dock at Wat Kai Tia, a Thai temple set in a tranquil rural village and an exquisite candlelight dinner of mouth-watering that cuisine is served on the deck and overnight on board

Day 02: Ayuthaya- Uthai Thani (Breakfast/Lunch)

Transfer to visit A UNESCO World Heritage Site, where we can visit fascinating temples like Wat Phra Si Sanphet, Wat Mongkhon Bophit, Wat Na Phra Meru, Wat Thammikarat, Wat Ratburana and Wat Phra Mahathat.
Depart from Ayuthaya and transfer to Uthai (lunch will be provided at local restaurant)
Visit the unique and amazing Wat Tasung and Crystal Palace. Then board a converted rice barge for a leisurely cruise along the Sakaekrang River. Watch traditional houseboats and the serene life along the riverbanks. You will then have the opportunity to stroll through the busy market along the banks of Sakaekrang River. Afterwards, transfer to your hotel in Uthai Thani

Day 03: Uthai Thani – Sukhothai (Breakfast/Lunch)

Check out from Uthai River Lake and transfer up north to Sukhothai, sightseeing along the way and lunch will be provided at local restaurant.
Upon arrival in Sukhothai, visit the Sukhothai Information Center then take a relaxing break by riding in ox-cart to experience the way of life of Thai rice-farmers on their rice-field.

Day 04: Sukhothai -Lampang (Breakfast/Lunch)

Check out and transfer to visit the famous ruins of this first capital of Thailand (1257-1379).  Visit Wat Maha Dhat, Wat Sra Sri and Wat Sri Sawai and Wat Sri Chum.
Lunch will be provided at local restaurant, after lunch, Proceed trip to Lampang.
Upon arrival in Lampang we will take you on a tour of the old city on horse carriages, visit Baan Sao Nak, a 100-year old teak-wood mansion and visit Wat Chedi Sao, after the Chedi we will transfer to your hotel in Lampang

Day 05: Lampang –Chiang Mai (Breakfast/Lunch)

Check out and transfer to visit a local market and Pineapple plantation (depending on season), On the way to Lampoon visit Khun Tarn Shrine.  In Lampoon town, exploring the famous Wat Phra That Haripoonchai, one of the most sacred monuments in the north, built in 1157.
Continue to Chiang Mai for lunch at Local restaurant

After lunch visit to Thai handicraft factories, to see the procedure of spinning and weaving of Thai silk and to silverware factories.  Also visit to Wat Phra Dhat Doi Suthep, tucked away in the mountains at 1,056 metres above sea level.  Observe the evening regular practice and chanting of Buddhist monks in this temple.
Continue to the town of Chiang Mai and check-in at your hotel

Day 06: Chiang Mai –Hmong Hilltribe Lodge Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Depart Chiang Mai to visit Sai Nam Pueng Orchid Farm and continue to the elephant camp.  Watch the elephants taking timber  in  the  forest, you will be  amazed  by  their  strength and clever teamwork

Optional tour: Take an elephant riding uphill into the surroundings


After noon, Proceed by 4WD truck to visit the Karen and Meo Hill-tribes Villages here you will see different way of living, housing, traditions and their old ways of life. We included a visit to the Royal Project, located on the way to the Hmong-Hilltribe Lodge, stop at the view point to see the hills covered with vegetable plantations.
Check in to hotel, rest of day at leisure

Day 07: Hmong Hilltribe Lodge – Chiang Rai (Breakfast/Lunch)

Check out and depart for a long journey to Thatorn through the picturesque landscape, on the way visit Houy Nam Rin Village to see how the villagers produce the noodle.
Arrival in Thatorn, a small village just a few kilometers away from the Burmese border

Lunch is served at the Thatorn Riverview Resort.

Continue transfer to Baan Pha Tai, a short stop en route at the Akha Hill-tribe Village of Houy Salah. At Baan Pha Tai then depart by typical motor boat for a three-hour journey along the Kok River passing a few rapids, tiny hilltribe villages, bamboo huts and jungle.   Stop for visit at the Muser Hill-tribe Village on the riverbanks.

Afternoon arrival in Chiang Rai, disembark at local pier and transfer to your hotel in Chiang Rai

Day 08: Chiang Rai –Golden Triangle – Mae Sai –Tachilek (Breakfast/Lunch)

This morning we will transfer you to Chiang Saen, visit the a musuem and view point at Golden Triangle continue trip by local long tailed boat on the Mekong river, cruising close-by the border of three countries, where you can see the simple & traditional lifestyle, short visit duty free in Lao side.
Return to the pier, from here, we transfer by our private minibus to Mae Sai, the northernmost Thai town on the Burmese border where you have the opportunity for shopping and stroll around the local market. Cross border to Myanmar to border town of Tachilek for a stroll through the township and the local market. Lunch at local restaurant in Mae Sai
In the afternoon, transfer to Doi Tung, and visit the Mae Fah Luang Garden, Doi Tung Royal Villa, the Princess Mother commemorative hall and some ethnic hill-tribe communities near by. Depart from Doi Tung and transfer to your accommodation in Chiang Rai.


Day 09: Chiang Rai –Bangkok (Breakfast)

Breakfast at hotel and Depart to Chiang Rai Airport to board for Bangkok
Arrive at Suvanaphumbi Airport and transfer to your hotel in Bangkok
